| September, 1980: two [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Fremd_High_School|Fremd High School]] students, Brian Catlin and Chris Adams, gained access to an HP 2000 (?) computer at DePaul University, sending messages to admin staff and demanding access to additional software.
